Local agency APRW joins Global Board of IPREX, leading global communication and public relations network

Anu Gupta, Director, APRW appointed as the Asia Pacific President from January 2024-May 2026

Singapore, 17 January 2024 – IPREX, the premier global communications network, today announced that APRW joins its Global Board and Anu Gupta, Director, APRW has been appointed as Asia Pacific President for the global network from January 2024 to May 2026. This appointment makes APRW the first communications firm from Singapore to be appointed on the IPREX Global Board.

Founded in 1983, IPREX has a $508 million network of communication agencies that comprises more than 1, 100 communications professionals in more than 100 markets globally. The two-year regional leadership role is effective from 1 January 2024, and underscores the network’s commitment to grow, empower and innovate public relations and communications agencies in APAC.

In this role, Anu will oversee the IPREX network in APAC. She will engage directly with existing IPREX partners in the region, as well as IPREX regional directors, identify opportunities to connect partners for new business opportunities, continued learning, collaboration and global support. She takes the reins from Xavier PRabhu, Founder and Managing Director of PRHUB, an independent public relations & marketing consultancy based in India.

Leading Communications in Asia Pacific to a New High

APRW, one of Singapore’s earliest and largest integrated communications agencies, joined the IPREX network in 2020. It is also the sole IPREX representative in Southeast Asia, representing Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, the Philippines, Vietnam and Malaysia.
