Nurul Rasheed shares about 14 years of growth and leadership at APRW

Singapore, 28 July 2025 – In this contribution article to Marketing-Interactive, APRW spotlights the remarkable journey of Nurul Rasheed, Director at APRW. She has spent 14 years growing alongside the agency, beginning her journey as a fresh graduate. 

Driven by a passion for storytelling, she built her career shaping narratives that matter. Nurul has partnered public sector agencies, non-profits, and global brands along the way. Her journey has taught her that the best communicators rely not only on hard skills, but also empathy, emotional intelligence, and calm leadership under pressure.

Her early work on reshaping public perceptions of social workers taught her the importance of meaningful storytelling and how it can shift mindsets and create real impact. Though working in PR can be demanding and at times feel underappreciated, she has learnt to celebrate every win and find purpose beyond external validation. 

At the 10-year mark, she stepped away for a sabbatical to recover from burnout. She returned with renewed clarity and purpose, having learnt to celebrate every win, big or small. She credits her longevity in the industry to the strong support system at APRW, where colleagues rallied around her through significant personal moments. What kept her at APRW for more than a decade was not just professional growth, but the unwavering encouragement and care she received during her most challenging moments. 

Inspired by the female leaders who guided her, she now strives to lead with the same empathy and hopes to create an uplifting environment for her team.
