Anu started her career in public relations over 25 years ago in India before moving to Dubai in 2003 and Singapore in 2009, bringing a wealth of hands-on regional experience to the company.

Anu founded Watermelon PR in 2003, growing it into one of the strongest local independent public communication agencies in Dubai, UAE.

She joined APRW in 2017, one of Singapore’s largest and oldest locally-owned integrated communication agencies as an owner-director to set up a practice that would work with the then emerging startup sector across industries like e-commerce, FinTech, Food & Beverage, SaaS, Travel & Hospitality and more – many of which are regional industry leaders today. She also leads the agency’s operations in Indonesia and focuses on cross border work across both offices.

In 2019, she spearheaded the agency’s decision to set up its first overseas office in Indonesia with the support of Enterprise Singapore, and currently oversees the agency’s global network initiatives via IPREX.

She leads the firm’s Indonesia operations and works closely with many Singaporean entities growing their presence in Indonesia, and vice versa, bridging the intricate web of interconnectedness that provides fertile ground for businesses to leverage on her expert capabilities. Anu also spends ample time coaching founders and business leaders on the ‘power of storytelling .

She has served on the Board of TiE Singapore for the period 2021-2023. She currently serves as a Council Member of Singapore Chamber of Commerce Indonesia (SCCI) and is a Global Board Member of IPREX.
